2 EASY AT-HOME REMEDIES FOR SOFT, HEALTHY HAIR

Nowadays, hair products range from gel to dye packs. With all the gunk you lay to your head, how convenient would it be if you could restore your hair at home?

Look no further! Here are 2 basic at-home remedies that will turn your weak strands into silky tresses:

Before performing these treatments, shampoo your hair. Wrap a towel around your shoulders to protect your body from any dripping of either treatment. Avoid running over the suggested leave-in time by keeping a timer nearby. Apply both treatments when your hair is damp, but not soaking wet; this allows the mixtures to set evenly.

1. Egg Dip
Eggs are full of protein. Protein rebuilds and strengthens broken hair. Depending on how much hair you have, crack 1 to 3 eggs into a bowl. Mix in 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Stir the conditioner. Next, scoop the egg dip on to your hair, being sure to cover all parts; pay special attention to your roots and ends. Set your hair in a shower cap for 10 to 15 minutes. The egg dip infuses your hair with tons of protein, so using it too long or too often will actually dry out your hair; therefore, only use it once a month. Wash the egg dip out with shampoo. Finish up with a deep moisturizing conditioner.

2. HONEY HEAD
Honey naturally softens your hair and promotes hair growth. Help your hair lock in moisture by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey with 3 tablespoons of warm olive or coconut oil. Stir the solution and apply to your hair. Put your hair in a shower cap and let it set for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash out with shampoo and follow up with conditioner.
